Job summary

Chefs for Chefs Ltd in Huddersfield is seeking a breakfast chef to join an established team on the outskirts of Huddersfield. You will ensure the smooth running of the breakfast service to residents and on occasion outside clients, within a luxury property with 11 bedrooms and events such as weddings.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hotels or restaurants with rooms and a stable work history. The role runs from 6am to 4pm, five days over seven, with potential afternoon tea and lunch

Qualifications

• Experience in hotels or restaurants with rooms.
• Must be able to commute early mornings; driver preferred.
• Stable working background.
• Two references required.
• Flexible to work across all outlets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve high quality breakfasts each day for the property's guests.
• Ensure consistency on all menu items and deliver within time constraints.
• Use the best ingredients to create a diverse menu with the head chef.
• Cater for dietary requirements or special requests.
• Involved with afternoon tea service and lunch service.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage orders and prep for following day’s service.
• Be reliable and trustworthy.
• Must commute early mornings; driver preferred due to public transport.
• Experience in luxury properties, ideally as a breakfast chef.
• Work 6am-4pm.
• Be flexible 5 days over 7.
• Provide two references.
• Be able to work across all outlets as required.
