Job summary

Harrods is seeking a Buyer to own the Fragrance/Beauty category, defining and executing brand and product strategy across retail platforms. You’ll manage end-to-end buying lifecycle, lead brand negotiations, and cultivate supplier relationships to drive innovation and commercial performance.

You will oversee cross-functional collaboration, drive trading performance, and support the Assistant Buyer. Hybrid working is available, with on-site expectations as needed at our Knightsbridge flagship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Buying role, preferably in luxury or premium retail.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• High level of commercial awareness and analytical ability, with proficiency in Excel and retail systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning of Beauty products aligned with demand, trends and divisional strategy.
• Build and manage relationships with brands and suppliers including contracts and terms.
• Monitor KPIs and trading performance; identify opportunities and adjust strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams on visual merchandising, marketing, online content and customer events.
• Provide leadership to the Assistant Buyer and support talent development within Buying.
