Job summary

Six Senses London is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our luxury hotel team. You will craft cocktails, manage beverage service and upsell with knowledge of wines and spirits to delight guests.

You should have at least 1 year in a luxury hospitality setting, fluent English, and rights to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available; Six Senses London offers comprehensive benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality diploma/degree preferred.
• Experience in cocktail-making, beverage service and garnishing.
• Familiar with Food & Beverage terminology, service, costs, menu development, hygiene codes and inventory control.
• Fluent in English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival, efficiently and friendly.
• Answer outlet telephone courteously and efficiently as standards.
• Inspect menus and wine list, ensure availability and update as needed.
• Prepare mis-en-place for cocktails and drinks.
• Knowledge of outlet menus and F&B activities; upsell where appropriate.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and correct billing procedures.
