Job summary

Cambridge House is seeking a skilled bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service across Major’s, Reuben Bar, and the In & Out Bar. You will craft cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision while building knowledge of menus and methods.

You will create a welcoming atmosphere behind the bar and on the floor, combining product knowledge with engaging conversation. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is essential, and you’ll contribute to shaping the venue’s unique character.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-level bar, luxury restaurant, or five-star hotel.
• Solid knowledge of classic cocktails and spirits, with a desire to expand expertise.
• Ability to stay composed, attentive, and efficient during busy services.
• Commitment to hygiene and responsible alcohol service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging service across Major’s, Reuben Bar, and the In & Out Bar.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits and other beverages with precision and flair.
• Develop knowledge of drinks menus, spirits and cocktail techniques, guiding guests to their best choice.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere behind the bar and on the floor with confident product knowledge and attentive listening.
• Coordinate drinks orders with the team to complement dining experiences.
• Maintain pristine bar areas, ensuring glassware, equipment and stock are ready.
• Support stock control, replenishment and responsible beverage management to minimise waste.
• Share ideas and help shape Cambridge House's character from the start.
