Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is partnering with an established AV and Smart Home technology specialist to recruit an AV Engineer for London/Southeast projects. You will install, configure, and maintain integrated AV solutions across luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality settings, collaborating with project teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.

The role offers a salary of £32,000 - £45,000 DOE, company pension, private medical, training and accreditations, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

Previous AV installation experience essential.
Strong understanding of AV systems, equipment and installation best practices.
Knowledge of networking, HDBaseT, and AV infrastructure technologies.
Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and fault-find AV systems effectively.
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain AV systems across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
Complete installation works including displays, audio systems, equipment racks, CCTV, and associated technologies.
Support AV and IT infrastructure installations, including networking, structured cabling, and HDBaseT systems.
Carry out fault finding, servicing, maintenance, and remedial works on existing client systems.
Work closely with project managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard.
Ensure installations are completed professionally, safely, and in line with company quality standards.
