Job summary

Mane Contract Services is recruiting for a Product Auditor to join a leading luxury, high-performance automotive manufacturer on a six-month contract. This on-site role is based in the South of England and collaborates with production, logistics and workshop teams to ensure vehicles and bespoke components meet the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally automotive.
• Ability to identify, investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of manufacturing quality standards.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure.
• Confident IT skills and experience with production or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle audits, ensuring components meet specifications, CAD documentation, customer requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor production progress, maintain parts tracking systems and support station sign-off.
• Liaise with production, logistics and workshop teams to ensure parts are available at the required stages of assembly.
• Identify, document and escalate defects or non-conformities, supporting effective resolution.
• Prepare and communicate daily production performance reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Carry out pre-build checks to ensure production kits, customer orders and specifications are aligned.
• Coordinate rework and post-fitment activities with production and workshop teams.
• Monitor relevant KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, health and safety requirements and housekeeping standards.
