Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Casting Operative to join our luxury sinks production team at the i54 Business Park in Wolverhampton. This hands-on role involves working with casting cases and clay mixtures to maintain high quality and heritage craftsmanship.

You will contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing, support moulding operations and uphold strict health, safety, and housekeeping standards. Training and development opportunities are provided within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or factory environment is advantageous.
• The ability to remain motivated and focused while completing repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• A positive attitude towards learning new skills and processes.
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A strong appreciation for workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
• A willingness to work in a practical, hands‑on role where getting dirty is part of the process.
• Good communication skills and the confidence to raise concerns when required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, powdering and maintaining casting cases and drums ready for production
• Pouring and processing clay mixtures in line with standard operating procedures
• Supporting the de-moulding process with care and attention to quality
• Preparing casting moulds and cores to ensure products are manufactured accurately
• Monitoring casting operations and identifying potential issues before they impact quality
• Carrying out mould replacement activities when required
• Operating mould-handling equipment safely and effectively
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within your work area
• Supporting dust control measures and maintaining a safe working environment
• Reporting equipment concerns, process issues or material defects to the Team Leader
• Understanding the impact your role has on product quality and customer satisfaction
• Following all health, safety and quality procedures at all times
