Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Casting Operative to join our luxury sinks production team at the i54 Business Park in Wolverhampton. This hands-on role involves working with casting cases and clay mixtures to maintain high quality and heritage craftsmanship.

You will contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing, support moulding operations and uphold strict health, safety, and housekeeping standards. Training and development opportunities are provided within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, powdering and maintaining casting cases and drums ready for production
  • Pouring and processing clay mixtures in line with standard operating procedures
  • Supporting the de-moulding process with care and attention to quality
  • Preparing casting moulds and cores to ensure products are manufactured accurately
  • Monitoring casting operations and identifying potential issues before they impact quality
  • Carrying out mould replacement activities when required
  • Operating mould-handling equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within your work area
  • Supporting dust control measures and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Reporting equipment concerns, process issues or material defects to the Team Leader
  • Understanding the impact your role has on product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Following all health, safety and quality procedures at all times

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join Shaws as a Casting Operative within our growing manufacturing team at our world-class facility on the i54 Business Park, Wolverhampton. This position will be working on our morning shift and requires to work five days across Monday- Saturday 2pm-10pm.

As a Casting Operative, you will play a vital role in the production of our luxury sinks. Working with specialist clay mixtures and casting moulds, you will help create beautifully crafted products that are recognised worldwide for their quality and heritage. This is a hands‑on role where attention to detail, pride in your work and a commitment to quality are key to success.

What You Will Be Responsible For
