Job summary

Hand Picked Hotels' L’Horizon Beach Hotel and Spa in Jersey is seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter to join the team. The role supports a busy kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and guest-focused service in a sea-side setting.

You will work with the Head Chef, maintain cleanliness, assist with prep, and help manage stock while upholding the hotel’s standards of excellence. This casual position offers a competitive hourly rate and share of service charge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain immaculate hygiene standards across kitchen areas, including dishwashing and cleaning of equipment.
• Support chefs by ensuring equipment, utensils and service items are clean, available and ready for use at all times.
• Assist with basic food preparation when required and monitor waste disposal.
• Adhere to health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
• Support stock organisation and deliveries.
• Casual role with hours varying to business needs.
