Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef in a care home or similar setting.
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen standards.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and service delivery.
• Prepare and present meals to a consistently high standard.
• Step into leadership during shifts, guiding and supervising the kitchen team.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health compliance at all times.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management.
• Work closely with care teams to meet individual dietary needs.
