Job summary

Fennies Day Nurseries Ltd in Beckenham is looking for a Lunchtime Teaching Assistant to support children during lunchtime routines, helping create a calm and enjoyable experience.

You don't need nursery experience; training will be provided. The role offers part-time hours, a weekday schedule 11:15 am to 2:30 pm, and pay up to £14 per hour plus a performance-related bonus and other benefits such as a childcare discount and free meals.

About the Role

As a Lunchtime Teaching Assistant, you'll support children during lunchtime routines, helping to create a positive, calm and enjoyable experience.

You will:
  • Support children during mealtimes, encouraging independence and good eating habits
  • Help create a calm and nurturing environment during lunch and transition times
  • Assist with supervising children indoors and outdoors
  • Support children's wellbeing, comfort and emotional needs
  • Work closely with the team to maintain routines
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene
