Job summary

Wmjobs is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our school team. The role covers supervision of pupils during the lunch period and requires reliable, enthusiastic and safety-conscious individuals. The post is term-time only, permanent, 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12:00–13:00, starting 2 November 2026.

The successful candidate will support pupils, report incidents, and assist with first aid as required. A safeguarding commitment and positive attitude are essential.

Grade 1 SCP 3 - £13.28 per hour

5 Hours per week

Monday-Friday 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and motivated person to join our dedicated team.

The duties of a Lunchtime Supervisor involve the safe supervision of pupils during the lunch period.

The ideal qualities we are looking for are reliability, enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of young children.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support for Pupils
   
   
   
   • Supervise pupils on the playground or in the classroom when the weather is inclement.
   
   
   • Report to the head teacher or class teacher on duty any incidents:
     
     
     
     • Where pupils have acted in a manner deemed to be a danger to themselves and others
     
     
     • Where pupils have acted in an inconsiderate or discourteous manner
     
     
     • Where pupils have disobeyed the school rules
     
     
     
     
   
   
   • Report any accidents and request assistance from the school’s first aider as required
