Job summary

River Mill Primary School, part of Mosaic Schools Learning Trust, is seeking a caring Midday Supervisor to ensure pupil safety and welfare during lunch. You will supervise dining hall and outdoor areas, support pupils with meals, and help maintain a calm, safe environment.

The role requires a patient, flexible and proactive approach, with good communication to liaise with pupils, staff and parents. Experience with children is beneficial, and safeguarding awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is beneficial.
• Patience, flexibility, proactive and passionate about supporting young people.
• Ability to communicate with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in dining hall during lunchtime.
• Monitor and manage outdoor areas during lunch period.
• Assist pupils with meals and welfare during break.
• Maintain a safe, orderly environment and respond to minor incidents.
• Contribute to a positive ethos and safeguarding of pupils.
