Job summary

TKAT (The Kemnal Academies Trust) is seeking a midday supervisor for Shenstone School in Crayford to supervise pupils at lunch. You will assist with lunch choices, cutting up/feeding where needed, and engage pupils in games and activities while safeguarding their safety and wellbeing.

The role requires confidence and resilience when supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and SEND, with a commitment to inclusion and a positive lunchtime experience for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise pupils during lunchtime.
• Confident and resilient when supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during the lunchtime period and assist with lunch choices.
• Help with cutting up/feeding where necessary.
• Initiate and participate in games and activities to engage pupils.
• Support safeguarding and protect pupils' safety and wellbeing.
• Be aware of and support pupils with SEND as part of an inclusive lunchtime.
