Job summary

Ridgewood School in Doncaster is seeking a friendly and adaptable Midday Supervisor to join our team. You will provide day-to-day supervision of students over the lunchtime period, ensuring safe and enjoyable breaks for all pupils.

The role involves managing entry and exit from the lunch area, supervising the dining hall, reporting incidents, and taking action to minimise disruption while keeping pupils safe. Training and annual reviews are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students at lunchtime to ensure safe and enjoyable breaks
• Manage students’ entrance and exit from the lunch area in an orderly manner
• Supervise the dining hall and report any incidents of serious misbehaviour per policy
• Take action to minimise disruption and harm to pupils in line with behaviour policy
• Ensure children tidy up after themselves and leave the dining hall in a tidy condition
• Clean up food and water spillages and supervise toilet arrangements
• Undertake training as required and participate in annual reviews
• Adhere to health, safety and welfare responsibilities and school policies
