Birdwell Primary School in England is seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic School Meals Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly team. This role focuses on a safe, inclusive lunchtime where all pupils feel supported and able to enjoy their time.

You will supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground and other areas, promoting positive behaviour, wellbeing and social development, while supporting play and encouraging independence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils at lunchtime, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour
• Support both structured and free play, encouraging inclusion and social development
• Promote good manners, routines and a calm dining environment
• Set up, supervise and clear away play equipment and dining areas
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised environment
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety procedures and support basic first aid where required
