Job summary

SAST at Charlton Horethorne Primary School is seeking a caring Midday Supervisor to supervise children during lunch and play, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. The role is Monday to Friday, 11.45am - 1.30pm, term-time plus inset days, and involves supporting lunchtime needs and promoting positive behaviour.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team, demonstrate calm and dependable conduct, and understand safeguarding and child welfare. DBS and related checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and uphold safeguarding.
• Calm, patient and dependable with good communication.
• Understanding safeguarding and child welfare.
• DBS check and Children’s Barred List checks required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising children during lunch and playtime.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good table manners.
• Supporting lunchtime needs.
• Setting up and tidying away dining equipment.
