Job summary

Richard Lee Primary School in Coventry is seeking a reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly support staff. This part-time role is 1 hour 15 minutes per day (6.25 hours per week), term-time only (38 weeks per year), with daily hours between 11:30am and 1:30pm.

You will look after a group of children, escort them to and from the dining room, supervise indoors and outdoors, monitor behaviour and contribute to a safe, enjoyable lunchtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or in an educational setting preferred.
• Flexible, energetic, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Look after a specific group of children and an area of the dining hall/playground during lunchtimes.
• Escort children to and from the dining room.
• Supervise children inside and outside during the lunchtime period.
• Monitor pupil behaviour and intervene according to school policies (behaviour, safeguarding, health and safety, first aid).
• Create play opportunities for children.
