King Edward VI Handsworth School for Girls is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated team, helping pupils enjoy their break safely while maintaining high standards of behaviour and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will supervise lunchtime, prepare dining areas, support safe queuing, and work collaboratively with staff to ensure a smooth lunchtime provision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime and encourage positive behaviour.
• Prepare dining areas before lunch service, including cleaning tables and sweeping floors.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming dining environment throughout the lunch period.
• Clear trays, plates and cutlery and assist with dishwasher duties.
• Manage waste disposal and ensure bins are ready for service.
• Clean chairs and windowsills following lunch service.
• Keep outdoor patio areas free from litter.
• Ensure pupils follow health and safety expectations, including safe queuing and appropriate use of school facilities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of lunchtime provision.
