Job summary

Airedale Infant Academy is seeking a committed lunchtime supervisor on a fixed-term basis until 31 October 2027. The role requires flexibility, compassion, and assertiveness to support pupil safety and welfare during lunch periods.

Responsibilities include supervising pupils, reporting misbehavior, dealing with injuries, and promoting healthy, safe lunchtime activities. The successful candidate will work well in a team and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Able to work with pupils and staff
• Provide lunch-time supervision in and out of dining hall
• Ensure safety and welfare of pupils
• Report misbehavior using academy procedures
• Be enthusiastic and a good team member
• Deal with injuries and report promptly
• Encourage pupils to participate in games
• Make lunchtimes safe, healthy and fun
