Job summary

Stockingford Academy in Coventry is seeking a reliable Midday Supervisor to support pupils during lunch and playtimes. The role involves helping children in the dining hall, opening lunch boxes, clearing tables and supervising activity in the hall and on the playground.

This term-time, permanent position is part-time: 6.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will contribute to safeguarding and promote children's welfare through training and compliance with school policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Able to form positive relationships while maintaining discipline.
• Good individual and teamwork skills; able to handle various situations and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist children in the dining hall; help open lunch boxes and cut up food as needed.
• Clear tables and dispose of waste food and drink.
• Supervise children in the hall and on the playground; oversee games and activities, including indoors when weather prevents outdoor play.
• Promote safeguarding and child welfare; complete regular safeguarding training.
