Job summary

North Tawton Community Primary School and Nursery, part of Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a Mealtime Assistant to support lunchtime routines. You will supervise meal times, help children with their meals, and assist with playground duty to foster positive relationships.

The role sits within a small school team, and a DBS check is required. Training, cycle to work scheme, eyecare vouchers, and wellbeing benefits are offered through the Trust.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Serve lunches daily to the children.
• Supervise children during lunchtime meals.
• Assist and encourage children with their meals.
• Ensure lunchtime supervision of children is adequately covered.
• Undertake playground duty, promoting positive relationships and play.
