Job summary

South Tyneside Council invites applications for a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant at East Boldon Infant School. This term-time role is 7.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:45am–13:15pm, with a temporary contract until July 2027 and a view to permanency.

You will help create a safe, active lunchtime environment for pupils, requiring a caring, positive approach. DBS check will be completed on appointment; closing date 21 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary school children is desirable.
• DBS disclosure will be completed on appointment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during the lunchtime period.
