Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council invites applications for a Lunchtime Supervisor to oversee lunchtime routines, promote healthy eating, and ensure student safety during the lunch period. The role runs Monday to Friday, term time only, and requires a DBS check.

A basic Welsh language level is required, with reasonable support provided to improve proficiency. Training in food safety is available if not already held.

Qualifications

• Calmly manage lunchtime environments and build respectful relationships with pupils and staff.
• Knowledge of basic food safety is an advantage; full training provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lunchtime routines and pupil behaviour.
• Encourage pupils to eat and try new foods.
