Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor for Preston Street Primary School in Edinburgh. Hours are 6 per week over 38 weeks, with a sessional commitment, Monday to Thursday 12:00–1:30pm. You will supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground and assist with general duties during lunch.

The post includes PVG scheme requirements and pre-employment checks, with a salary of £26,205-£26,525 per year pro rata for part-time and sessional work.

Qualifications

• Duties include supervising pupils in dining hall, playground and school premises.
• Assist in dining hall operations and maintain clean tables and spillages.
• Ensure good order and discipline during lunch periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of the pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises
• Ancillary associated duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean etc.)
• To ensure the maintenance of good order and discipline.
