Job summary

St John Fisher Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to help create a safe, calm and positive atmosphere during lunch breaks. You will play a key role in supporting pupils' wellbeing, encouraging good behaviour and helping children enjoy their playtime safely.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 1.15pm, 8.75 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, with opportunities for progression and training within a welcoming Catholic school community.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to promote a safe and inclusive lunchtime environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch periods to ensure safety and order.
• Engage with pupils to promote positive play and behaviour.
• Support wellbeing and inclusion in line with school values.
• Assist with setting up and clearing away lunchtime activities.
