Job summary

Abbey Road Primary School is seeking a caring Midday Supervisor to join the OPAL Play Team during school lunchtimes. The role involves supervising children in the dining room and playground, promoting safe, joyful lunchtime experiences and healthy play.

This permanent, term-time position offers 6 ¼ hours per week with hours Monday to Friday, focusing on daytime school hours. A supportive team and access to staff benefits through the Equals Trust accompany the role.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and promoting good behaviour and positive interactions
• Being a role model and setting a positive example for the children
• Supervising children in the dining room, helping to serve meals, and ensuring lunchtime runs smoothly
• Overseeing playtime activities, whether in the playground or indoors on rainy days, and encouraging fun, healthy, and active play
• You will lead playtime games and encourage a healthy lifestyle
