Are you passionate about working with children and creating a safe, positive environment for learning and play? We are looking for a friendly and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team at Catshill First School & Nursery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support students during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Assist with the smooth operation of the dining hall, encouraging good table manners and promoting healthy eating.
  • Help manage outdoor playtime, ensuring students engage in safe and fun activities.
  • Provide a caring and supportive presence for students, addressing any conflicts or concerns that arise.
  • Work closely with other staff members to ensure a positive school environment.
  • Clean the dining area and remove rubbish.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • A warm, friendly approach and a passion for working with children.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to manage situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Previous experience in a school or childcare setting (desirable but not essential).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Hours: 6 hours 15 minutes per week (Monday to Friday 1hr 15 minutes per day)

Grade: Scale 1, Point 2, (£2,126 per annum) – £12.65 per hour
