Job summary

Ernehale Flying High Academies is seeking a caring, reliable Midday Supervisor Assistant to oversee lunchtime supervision and promote a safe, inclusive dining experience for pupils. You will help maintain calm, positive behaviour and support children’s wellbeing during the school day.

The role requires a proactive, professional approach, strong communication, and a flexible team mindset within our school community.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall and outdoor play areas to ensure their safety and wellbeing
• Support the smooth running of lunchtime routines, including managing queues and seating arrangements
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage respectful interactions between pupils
• Help maintain a clean and safe dining environment, including clearing spills and tidying tables
• Support children in developing independence and good social skills during lunchtime
• Respond to minor first aid needs and report any concerns to the appropriate staff
• Supervise children indoors during wet weather as required
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times
• Work flexibly as part of the wider school team
