Queen Margaret Primary Academy in Tewkesbury invites applications for a Lunchtime Supervisor. The role focuses on supporting pupils at lunch breaks, promoting safe and well-behaved play, and helping create a positive dining and play environment.

Ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, and proactive with strong relationship-building and listening skills. Please note the role is a fixed-term, part-time position during term time, starting November 2026.

Qualifications

• You will have strong relationship-building skills and be able to proactively engage with students and staff.
• Demonstrates empathy and active listening in interactions with pupils.
• Ability to handle inappropriate behaviour calmly following school guidance.
• Patience and calmness under pressure; act as a positive role model.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils during lunch breaks to promote safe and positive behaviour.
• Encourage healthy eating and ensure the playground is a secure space for all.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain a friendly and orderly environment during lunchtimes.
