Job summary

Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy is seeking a Lunchtime Play Worker on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027. The role is part of Five Rivers Multi Academy Trust and involves supporting children at lunchtime as they eat and play, ensuring safety, order and positive behaviour.

The post is a Grade 2 salary (£24,413) with a pro rata amount (£3,688 per annum) for term-time work, 6.5 hours per day across 39 weeks per year.

• Experience of working with children or young people in paid or voluntary roles.
• Ability to actively engage children in play activities.
• Commitment to health and safety and food hygiene requirements.

Responsibilities

• Join the lunchtime team to support children at lunchtime as they eat and play.
• Assist with supervision, safety and positive behaviour during breaks.
