Job summary

Esteem North Academy is seeking a Midday Support Assistant to supervise and serve meals at lunchtime for primary pupils. The role involves direct contact with children, supporting mealtime routines and basic care, with no large-scale food prep.

Part-time 15 hours per week, term time only, with travel between sites and DBS safeguarding responsibilities. Successful candidate will be organized, patient and able to work in a SEND environment, promoting pupils' welfare at lunch and playtimes.

Qualifications

• Experience with food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Ability to work with primary pupils and SEND.
• Teamwork and reliability during lunchtimes.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to pupils during lunchtime and ensure smooth mealtime routines.
• Assist pupils with eating lunches and supervise playtime activities.
• Follow risk assessments and COSHH where applicable.
