Job summary

The Wyvern School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team. This part-time role is 15 hours per week, during term time (38 weeks plus 5 staff training days), with a 11:00am–2:00pm schedule from Monday to Friday.

You will work with children with complex needs, providing essential support, and will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing training to help you make a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or willingness to transition into education.
• Ability to work with children with complex needs and respond promptly.
• Physically able to perform role requirements.

Working as a Learning Support Assistant is a physically demanding job that requires staff to be dynamic to the risks and safety needs of our children with complex needs. The ability to respond promptly and proactively is necessary in all of our classes.

You’ll receive a comprehensive induction, full training, and ongoing support from our dedicated onsite teams.
