Job summary

Bright Horizons North Cheam Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for a lunch cover role at North Cheam, London. This 20-hour-a-week position runs Monday to Friday year-round in a Good-rated Ofsted nursery with accessible transport and parking for staff.

You will plan and deliver EYFS-aligned activities, maintain safeguarding standards, and build trust with families. A Level 2+ Early Years qualification and passion for inclusive learning are required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Safeguarding and child protection knowledge and practices

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to key children to support development towards milestones.
• Create a safe environment that enables children to express themselves, explore, and foster a love of learning.
