Moray Council in Buckie is seeking a part-time supervisor to oversee pupils on school premises during the lunch period at Millbank Primary. You will supervise in the dining area and, if needed, in playgrounds, ensuring safety and positive conduct.

The role is temporary until 15 August 2027 and requires PVG scheme involvement under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. The post is 7.5 hours per week, term-time only, paid at £13.95 per hour.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of and experience with children of school age.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and staff.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather.

Requirements

This post is considered to be a ‘Regulated Role’ under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Under the Act it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.

Therefore the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council.

Responsibilities

Supervision of pupils on the school premises during the lunchtime interval in particular within the school dining area.

General supervision within the time available as required which may include playground supervision.

Such other duties as determined by the Head Teacher.

Able to engage and interact with children.
