Job summary

Brougham Street Nursery School in Skipton is seeking a reliable Lunchtime Assistant to join our nursery team for a permanent, term-time role.

You will serve and support with children's lunches, maintain cleanliness, monitor allergies and dietary requirements, and provide staff lunch cover while ensuring a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience for all children.

Qualifications

• Experience in a nursery or catering environment is an advantage.
• Ability to handle allergies and dietary requirements with care.
• Willingness to learn and support staff during lunchtimes.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and friendly Lunchtime Assistant to join our nursery team.

Brougham Street Nursery School

This is an important role within our daily routine, ensuring that lunchtime is a safe, well-organised and enjoyable experience for our children, whilst providing essential support to our staff team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for serving and supporting with children’s lunches, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, clearing away after meals and providing staff lunch cover.

A key part of the role will be ensuring that all allergies, intolerances and individual dietary requirements are followed accurately and consistently, with excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in a nursery or catering environment would be an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
