Job summary

Aureus Primary School and Nursery is seeking a friendly lunchtime supervisor to join our Didcot cluster. The role is a fixed-term part-time position ending with the academic year, supporting children during lunch in the dining room and helping maintain a calm, safe, and welcoming environment.

Start ASAP with shifts 11:30am–1:00pm, five days a week (7.5 hours). The appointment is paid on the Associate 1 scale with pro rata per annum pay (£4,310).

Job description

Aureus Primary School are looking to add to our lunchtime team with a fixed term cover role until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will be a friendly and reliable team member with an interest in working with and supporting children. The role is varied and encompasses supporting all children during their lunch time in the dining room.

Your Opportunity

You will support the efficient running of the lunchtime service as part of a busy school day. We are looking for pro-active individuals to work collaboratively and flexibly within our team, build good working relationships with both children and adults and demonstrate a respectful and caring attitude towards all our children. The requirement is to cover the lunch shift from 11.30 - 1pm but there can be some flexibility around this.
