Job summary

Nuffield Health Gloucester FWC is seeking a Nursery Assistant for lunch cover on a permanent, part-time basis (15 hours per week). The role involves creating a safe, stimulating creche environment and supporting development across typical early years activities.

DBS check is required; Paediatric First Aid is desirable but not essential. You will work with the Nuffy Bear Day Nursery team to deliver care from 3 months to 5 years, while maintaining strong communication with families and ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of caring for young children.
• Ability to communicate with children, parents and carers.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification (preferred but not essential).
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Work with the small team at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery.
• Deliver full day care, sessional care and pre-school for ages 3 months to 5 years.
• Focus on high-quality care, education, health and wellbeing.
• Support children to achieve their best start in life.
• Maintain excellent communication with parents and carers.
