Victorious Academies Trust is appointing 2 Midday Assistants to join Yew Tree Primary School in Newtonmoor. The roles run during term time with a 6.15-hour week profile, starting November 2026, on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the children in the dinner hall, playground and classrooms during wet weather.
• Be able to develop and maintain positive relationships.
• Enjoy engaging children in a range of play activities.
• To administer basic first aid and deal with sickness, in accordance with training provided.
• Have a positive approach to behaviour management and help to ensure lunchtimes remain a safe and positive experience for all children.
