Job summary

Lime Academy Ravensbourne in Romford is seeking a dedicated Midday Assistant to supervise the lunchtime period, keep children safe, and support the school's behaviour policy. The role includes one-to-one lunchtime help and personal care for pupils aged two to nineteen during 7.5 hours each week across 39 weeks of the school year.

The position requires an enhanced DBS check and checks with past employers; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children.
• Experience of encouraging and leading positive play.
• Experience of supporting positive relationships between children at play.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children during the lunchtime period.
• Support the school's policy for promoting positive behaviour.
• Encourage and lead positive, active play experiences and opportunities.
• Foster positive relationships between children as they play together.
• Provide individual lunchtime assistance to individual learners.
• Provide intimate and personal care for pupils aged two to nineteen.
