A leading education support agency in the UK is seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Sudbury. The role involves supporting children with various special needs, and it is a full-time position requiring availability five days a week. No specific experience is necessary, but a background in social care is preferred. Candidates must have strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward teaching and learning, with training available for specific support needs. Safeguarding checks are required.

If so, then this is the role for you. Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join a specialist school in Sudbury!
You will be joining a great team that predominantly work with children who have a variety of special needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD and PMLD. Therefore, a desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary!
Training in First Aid, Manual Handling, Hoist and Medicine Administration would be desirable.
A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.
This is a long‑term, full‑time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am‑15:30pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
