Vision for Education are working with a specialist SEMH school in South Bristol who are looking for a confident and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school supports secondary-aged students with social, emotional and mental health needs, including those who may display challenging behaviours.
This role would suit someone who has experience working with young people and is confident building positive relationships with students who may have experienced barriers to education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students throughout the school day, helping them to engage with learning, manage their emotions and develop positive relationships with staff and peers.
You will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide consistent support, helping students overcome challenges and achieve their individual goals.
