Vision for Education is seeking a confident and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a brand-new SEMH school in North Somerset, near Bristol Airport. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting secondary-aged students with SEMH needs.
You will work closely with students in and out of the classroom, helping them engage with learning, regulate emotions and develop positive relationships in a trauma-informed environment.

You will work closely with students both in and out of the classroom, helping them to engage with learning, regulate their emotions and develop positive relationships. Every day will be different, and you'll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive environment where young people can thrive.
The school follows a trauma-informed approach, so you'll need to build positive relationships, remain calm under pressure and use effective de-escalation techniques to support students when required.
