Job description

Meadows School is seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Learning Support Assistants to join our capable team. You could be asked to work anywhere across the school from Key Stage 2 – 5 supporting teaching in the classroom.

2 posts available: a full-time post of 32.5 hours and a part-time of 19.5 hours (3 days per week)

Key Requirements:

• A flexible approach combined with patience, tolerance, stamina, and humour
• Experience of working with or willingness to work with young people with challenging behaviours
• Physical and mental resilience. Ability to carry out theory and practical TCI (Therapeutic Care Interventions)
• A willingness to undertake further training
• Good levels of literacy and numeracy – Level 1 with a willingness to complete Level 2 qualification within the 6-month probationary period
• Able to communicate well with students and adults
• A manual driving license, with a requirement to drive school vehicles
