Job summary

Flogas is seeking a Shift Technician to operate cryogenic plant, manage LPG operations, and oversee site activities at Avonmouth Terminal. The role focuses on safe, efficient operations and effective task prioritisation.

You will work with an experienced team, documenting activities, and coordinating with maintenance leads to ensure continuous operations. Training and benefits are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering or non-engineering discipline.
• Qualified to a minimum of ONC, City & Guilds or Level 3.
• Communication written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of duties on the terminal working on cryogenic plant and equipment, including maintenance, plant operations, and site delivery of projects.
• Record and log plant operations, site activities and defects; present information clearly for shift handover.
• Monitor contractors within their discipline ensuring safe delivery within budgets.
• Be proactive in maintenance programmes and site operations, coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor or Instrument/Electrical leads.
• Carry out process and engineering isolations before safe setting to work and act as site contact under the permit system.
• Keep up to date with site maintenance and operational records.
