Job summary

Flogas is seeking an Engineer to join our LPG field team, reporting to the Consumer Engineering Manager. You will install, maintain and test LPG equipment at customer sites, following installation drawings and ensuring safety standards.

You’ll train at our LPG centre and work away Mon-Fri as required. Join a growing Energy company investing in renewable technologies while delivering service to homes and businesses across the country.

Qualifications

• Hold a current UK category B driving licence (light vehicle up to 3.5 tonne).
• Ability to meet agreed deadlines and work overtime as required.
• Willing to routinely work away from home Mon-Fri.
• Good verbal and written communication & influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Full ACS Certification including Regulators, Meters and Vessels.
• Current CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspection work at Flogas customers premises & Flogas LPG sites
• Carry out on site installations of LPG Vessels, pipework, and auxiliary equipment at customer sites
• Complete all required testing, purging and commissioning of equipment & issuing of certification
• Some heavy manual handling required (training will be provided)
• Ability to follow installation drawings and plans
