Job summary

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Lower Limb Practitioner for a 12‑month fixed term post to cover maternity leave. The role involves triage, assessment and diagnosis of complex lower limb conditions, with care pathways spanning community podiatry and hospital settings.

The successful candidate could be a podiatrist or nurse, delivering evidence-based interventions, wound care, debridement and arterial assessments while contributing to service development

Qualifications

• UK professional registration is required.
• Experience in caring for patients with limb-related conditions is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based clinical pathway for high-risk lower limb patients.
• Triage, assess, diagnose and manage complex limb conditions in community and hospital settings.
