Lower KS2 Teacher (Year 3/4)

Chesterfield
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £750-£1,115 per week (dependent on experience)

About the Role

Connex Education are working with Flying High Trust to provide a dedicated Lower KS2 Teacher for their primary school in Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Year 3/4 pupils in a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across the primary curriculum for Year 3/4 pupils
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development
• Monitor and track pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
• Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular activities and whole-school initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting processes

Person Specification

Essential:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one
