Westren Capital in London seeks an Infrastructure Support Engineer to keep our high-availability trading platform running. You will manage servers, networks and connectivity to exchanges, and build reliable tooling to detect and prevent outages before they impact trading.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or systems engineering in low-latency or high-availability env.
• Strong Linux knowledge, including networking and performance tuning.
• Scripting in Python, Bash for automation and tooling.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems.
• Able to work under pressure in a high-stakes environment.
• Experience supporting trading systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and maintain the firm's core infrastructure, including servers, networking, and connectivity to exchanges and venues.
• Respond to and resolve infrastructure incidents quickly, with clear communication to affected trading and engineering teams.
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting, and automation to catch problems before they become incidents.
• Support engineers and traders with infrastructure needs, from provisioning to troubleshooting, without becoming a bottleneck.
• Maintain and improve deployment pipelines, configuration management, and system reliability practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation, given that markets, and the systems trading in them, don't keep office hours.
