Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking a Network & Latency Expert in the United Kingdom to lead LAN/WAN network audits for a trading platform. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing network data, supervising technical scripts for ultra-low latency audits, and conducting on-site inspections across seven locations. Ideal candidates should have expertise in financial infrastructures and experience in High Performance Computing, along with programming skills in Python. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

Expert in LAN/WAN network, preferably with experience in High Performance Computing.
Familiarity with financial infrastructure or trading environments is advantageous.
Strong skills in Python for automation and data reporting.

Role in the assignment

Lead the LAN/WAN network audit of a trading platform
Collect LAN, WAN, NIC (network card), latency and jitter data
Design and supervise analysis scripts for an ultra-low latency & high availability audit
Participate in on-site inspections across 7 locations (Europe, Asia, US)
Consolidate, structure, and formalise all collected data for analysis and deliverables
